Photographer of all things action, wildlife or landscape.
Along with being a photographer, she is a wife, mother of 2 daughters, runner, marathoner, hiker, thyroid cancer survivor and volunteer at a wildlife refuge and with a sea turtle group. She loves to live life to the fullest.
Born in the rolling hills of Kentucky but raised in the bayous of Louisiana, Terri has been surrounded by nature’s beauty all her life. She relocated to Florida for college and where she met her husband, Jon, whom she’s been married to for 25 years. They have 2 young adult daughters who are aspiring to be a cinematographer and a film producer.
Her love and fascination with animals and wildlife started at a young age. She would spend hours out on the bayous of Louisiana with her dad and never realizing much time had passed before they’d have to head home. With her dad by her side as her teacher her love for photography began. She started enjoying photography in high school and entered a few of the local competitions. Then had to put it on pause for college and be a stay-at-home mom to their two daughters and enjoy being there for them.
Now that her daughters are older, she’s jumped back in and reclaimed the passion for capturing the beauty of nature and brief moments in time. She’s enjoyed getting back to nature and watching the beauty around her. And again, finds that she can be out walking and capturing images for hours without realizing how much time has passed.
Being a marathoner and frequent race participant herself, she knows the thrill of pushing off at the start line, the excitement of seeing the finish and the pride of finishing a goal. To be able to help capture those moments for others brings her joy.
Her hope is that her passion shows through in her images and brings to light the immense beauty of and need to care for our world. And to capture our wonderful moments.
